You can still participate!2021 Pennsylvania Sporting Clay Scholarship Classic Weather Update
- Rain generally doesn't not stop an event unless there is lightning in the area or you can no longer see the targets.
- We are encouraging everyone to bring rain gear and warm clothing.
- If you have a shell bag or pouch please bring it with you. We will also have sturdy bags on hand. Due to the moisture we will be asking everyone to carry their own shells instead of placing them at stations like we have done in the past.
- If you choose not to participate in the shoot you are still welcome to attend Lunch. All plans related to lunch (food, speaker, program) are still happening tomorrow.
- If you are scheduled to shoot in the morning and would like to move to the afternoon we have a few slots remaining at 1pm and we are opening the option of a 3pm squad. Contact Rachel to move your squad start time.
- Targeting Excellence will also have vouchers available for any team who wants to shoot at a later date instead of tomorrow. Vouchers will be good for 40 days and your team can shoot the course at Blue Ridge Sportsmen Club anytime the club is open during the next 40 days.
If you are changing your plans for the event please let Rachel know. You can reach Rachel at [email protected] or 678-448-2368. This includes only coming for lunch or not attending the event in any capacity. We need to update the club and our lunch providers as much as possible.
As a reminder - if you plan to attend the event tomorrow in any capacity you must sign a waiver for BOTH the club and Targeting Excellence - even if you are not shooting in the event. Please take a minute to e-sign the waiver now prior to arriving for the event. This will help make check-in go quicker when you arrive. Once you fill out your contact information you will need to place your signature on 2 documents - one for Targeting Excellence and the other for the club. Once you have completed the process you will receive an emailed copy of the waivers for your records.

Targeting Excellence awards scholarships to students who demonstrate a clear path to working in Food Animal Agriculture upon graduation. These scholarships are only possible through the generous support of our donors and sponsors.
The mission of Targeting Excellence is to sponsor events that bring together professional leaders of agricultural businesses, production systems, and institutions of higher education - with students - for the purpose of building personal relationships, exchanging ideas, and improving communications, while raising funds for scholarships.
